Terms of Service

1. About nori.care
nori.care ("we", "us", "our") is a personal health-tracking platform that helps you record food intake, track blood-test results, log supplement use, and store doctor-visit summaries. By creating an account or using any part of the service — including the web application at nori.care and the optional Telegram bot — you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Subscription, Payment & Access
nori.care Pro is a monthly digital subscription service ("Service"). The Service is provided in the form of access to the nori.care web application — there is no physical delivery of goods.
Price: 199 UAH per month.
Access: Access to the Service is granted immediately upon confirmation of a successful payment. You will receive a confirmation email, and the subscription features will be activated in your account without delay.
Accepted payment methods: Bank cards Visa and Mastercard, processed securely through WayForPay — a PCI DSS-certified Ukrainian payment service provider. We do not store your card details; all payment data is handled exclusively by WayForPay.
Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly billing cycle. You may cancel at any time before the next renewal date; see our Refund Policy for details.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use nori.care. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.
4. Nature of the Service — Not Medical Advice
nori.care is a personal data-organisation and information tool. It is not a medical device, a clinical decision-support system, or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing on the platform should be interpreted as medical advice.
AI-generated interpretations of lab results, food entries, or doctor notes are for informational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something you read on nori.care.
5. Your Account
You authenticate via third-party providers (currently Google, through Clerk). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at hello@nori.care if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account, use another person's account, or create accounts for purposes other than personal health tracking.
6. Data We Collect and How We Use It
When you use nori.care, we collect and process:
- Account data — name, email address, and profile metadata provided via your authentication provider (Clerk/Google).
- Health & food data — food diary entries (names, calories, macronutrients, micronutrients), body metrics (weight, height, date of birth, gender, BMR), and daily goals you configure.
- Lab results — blood-test markers extracted from PDF files you upload, including any out-of-range values.
- Supplement logs — products, dosages, and stock levels you record.
- Doctor-visit data — specialist names, diagnoses, prescriptions, and visit notes extracted from documents you upload or enter manually.
- Telegram account data — your Telegram user ID and username, collected when you voluntarily link your Telegram account to enable the logging bot. Used solely to associate bot messages with your nori.care account.
- AI usage metadata — token counts and feature names for internal billing and abuse-prevention purposes. We do not store the content of AI prompts beyond what is already in your diary or lab data.
- Technical data — IP addresses, browser type, and usage logs retained for security and debugging.
We use this data exclusively to provide and improve the nori.care service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
7. AI Processing
nori.care uses Anthropic Claude (via the Anthropic API) to parse PDF documents, interpret lab results, and calculate nutritional information. When you submit data for AI analysis, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic's servers for processing. Anthropic's data-use policies apply to that transmission. We do not use your data to train AI models.
AI outputs are probabilistic and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying any AI-generated information before acting on it.
8. Telegram Bot
If you choose to link your Telegram account, messages you send to the bot are processed to extract food information and create diary entries on your behalf. Linking is optional and reversible at any time from your Profile settings. Unlinking immediately stops all bot activity and removes the association from our database. Message content sent to the bot is not retained beyond the time needed to create the diary entry.
9. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in MongoDB Atlas on EU-hosted infrastructure. We apply AES-256 encryption at rest. Authentication is handled by Clerk. PDF files are processed in memory and are not stored on our servers beyond the parsed data.
Despite our efforts, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data and accept no liability for unauthorised access resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — permanently delete your account and all associated data. This can be done from within the application or by contacting us.
- Portability — export your data in JSON format from your account settings.
- Objection — object to processing in cases where we rely on legitimate interest.

11. GDPR Compliance
nori.care processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our lawful basis for processing health data is your explicit consent, given when you create an account and voluntarily enter health information. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
If you are a resident of the EEA and believe we have not complied with applicable data-protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
12. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the platform.
- Use the Telegram bot or any API in an automated fashion to generate excessive load.
- Submit false, misleading, or third-party health data as your own.
- Use the service on behalf of another person without their explicit consent.
13. Intellectual Property
All platform code, design, branding, and original content are owned by nori.care. Your personal health data remains yours. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it for the purpose of providing the service.
14. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, nori.care shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to health decisions made based on AI-generated content.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ukraine, without prejudice to your rights under mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence.
